Jennifer's First Food!!

So I realize that it sound like I have been starving my child for the last 6 months, but I asure you I haven't! She just had her first baby food tonight!

It all stated last night when I fed Jennifer and put her to bed- only to realize that an hour later she was still not asleep!! So I went and got her to feed her again. She drank another 4 1/2 ounces!! That is alot for a breastfed baby! Especially considering she had eaten just an hour before!! So I got the message- it was time for food!

I'm still having a hard time taking it in that she is even 6months old. It seems just like yesterday she was being born!! WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?!?

Carrots were on the menu, and she did pretty well. After a few bites she was starting to open her mouth, but the poor thing couldn't seem to get her toung out of the way!! It was too funny!! She was even reaching for the spoon when mommy stopped to take picures! She seemed to like the carrots, so I hope that it helps her sleep through the night tonight...... I guess we'll see!!!

EXCUSE THE HAIR IT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN! LOL!

Though I will have to admit I forgot how messy baby food could be! Especially the first time! :)

My Future Rock Star

I know I'm biased but, I have the most adorable kid in the world!! Jr is such a joy and a blessing!! he is adventurous,

 loving,

carefree,

eager to learn,

and defnitely does not let the fact that he's 2 get in his way!!

I am beginning to see how big Jr is actually getting through Jennifer. I see her mastering new skills and think back to when Jr was learning that. It makes me sad to think of how those times are gone, but excited to see what the future holds for him! Jr has already been such a blessing on my life and know he always will!! I can't wait for the day that Jr starts school or plays on his first sports team, or band or whatever!! I just love this kid sooo much- He is mommy's little boy!!!!!!

Free Christmas Cards Through Shutterfly!!

I am so excited!! Sarah told me about this GREAT offer through Shutterfly for  50 free Christmas cards!! She only paid shipping!! Her cards looked so beautiful, and I definitely wanted to get some!! I originally only heard about Shutterfly through Jesse's Aunt Nancy. She uses it to upload pictures of our Family down in Louisiana. Jesse and I really enjoy it because it helps us keep in touch with everyhting thats going on. However after I heard about this offer I looked into it and they have some really awesome stuff!! They have holiday photocards that are great for Birth Announcements! So if you have your babies around the holidays they would be perfect! They also have these great Wall Calendars that would be good gifts for the grandparents because you can upload pictures of the kids on them!! Especially since we are away from them so much.

Fall Fun!!

Here is my looong over-due post. It's a little of everything.

We have all been enjoying this cool fall weather, so to keep warm, Ma'ama sent us these cute Halloween PJs!! The kids loved them, and they are adorable! Jr's shirt glows in the dark and Jennifer's onesie says My First Halloween! I love them!!

This is our new pumpkin we got from Michael's! I can't resist a good deal!

Jr wanted to take a picture with the "punkin" :). He's so stinkin cute!!!

We also got a new kitten this fall. We named him Oscar. He was rescued from barn life about amonth ago, and we love him!! He is a great cat! Perect for Jr and Jennifer!!

I have been busy! I also did some decorating! These are my new coat hooks from At Home America! They look so good with the sigh tne Aunt nancy made for Jesse!

This is my new "rectangle shelf thing" I also got it from At Home America. I'm so glad I bought it! I plan to use it all year round.

Well I told you it was a little of everything... But I think I hit all the bases :)



She Finally Figured It Out!

Jennifer has been rolling over to her belly for about a month now, but she hadn't quite figured out how to get back over. Boy has she got it now!

Dinner at Aubrey's

Spaghetti was on the menu! Oh yea, and brownies too! I  ate too much though! Jr and Jennifer watched "Cars" and "Stuart Little" (I think Jr is becoming addicted to Cars), but thats ok :).


Aubrey taught me how to use my new bread machine, and the bread turned out great! Not to mention how much better homemade bread tastes!

Anyway now to the real reason most of you follow my blog (yea I'm talking to you Ma'ama)- the kids. The kids are getting bigger and smarter everyday!! Here are some new pics!!

 She is getting so big! She can rollover and is holding her head so good now!

My New Blog!

This is my first post on my new blog! YAY! Well the Wood Family had a great day today!! We cleaned house and ran some errands, so I would call it a pretty productive day! I am going to try and post some pictures of the kids soon. Stay tuned :).
