Playing Outside!
The weather was gorgeous yesterday!!
So I took the kiddos out to play!
Jennifer loves this ball, so of course Jr spent the majority of the time trying to take it from her!
Jr was "golfing" with the soccer ball.
His "big boy bike" as he calls it! He got it for his birthday.
Jennifer's race car she got for her birthday too!
Jr has this new thing about throwing the ball "way high".
and again with Jennifer's ball....
Explaining why he can't give Jennifer her ball back.
Love this pic of her!
MY KIDS ARE SO SWEET! I CAN'T IMAGINE ONE DAY WITHOUT THEM!!
MOMMY LOVES YOU!

Dinner at the Wood House
A New Spin on Meat and Potatoes
Ingredients:
5-6 red potatoes (depending on size)
1 pound of smoked sausage
Parsley Flakes
Italian Seasoning
Pepper
Garlic Powder
All Purpose Seasoning (I use Tony's Chacheres)
Cheese Sauce:
3/4 cup of Monterey Jack cheese shredded
2 tbl. AP Flour
1 cup of milk
Peel and cut potatoes into bite size pieces. In a large pot boil potatoes with the all purpose seasoning until tender. Drain. In a separate bowl mix milk and flour and whisk until flour is dissolved, then add shredded cheese. Cut sausage into rounds or quarter for little mouths. Brown in a skillet with the pepper, parsley, and garlic seasonings. When sausage is brown, mix cheese sauce and sausage into the pot of potatoes. Garnish with Italian Seasoning.
Fried Squash
2 yellow squash
1 egg
Milk
AP Flour
All Purpose Seasoning
Oil
Peel and cut squash into rounds. In a separate bowl mix egg and 3/4 cup of milk- whisk until egg is thoroughly beaten. In a separate bowl mix 1 cup of flour with all purpose seasoning until your preferred taste. Heat Oil in skillet. Dip sliced squash into egg mixture and then into flour and coat thoroughly. Fry squash until golden brown on each side. Enjoy!
